NEW STUDY PROMISES HOPE FOR AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES
Increasingly, people are suffering from an autoimmune disease. These include psoriasis, rheumatism, inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, multiple sclerosis, type 1 diabetes, celiac disease or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. In total, there are about 80,000 to 100,000 different autoimmune diseases and their number is increasing. Autoimmune diseases often occur with exacerbation. Patients are often between 20 and 50 years old.
Do you want to alleviate your suffering a little?
Hope promises a new study (September 2018) carry out by scientists from the Institute of Molecular and Clinical Immunology at the Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg with certain type white blood cells, T lymphocytes (T cells) from human donors.
According to this recent study, the use of zinc aspartate, a drug to compensate zinc deficiency conditions, may have beneficial effects in autoimmune diseases.
The causes are genetic predisposition, lifestyle (especially diet, as the intestinal flora has a significant impact on the body’s own defenses), severe infections, environmental factors (industrial toxins, plastics, solvents, heavy metals, etc.), stress, vitamin D deficiency, vaccinations, etc. In addition, cancer and autoimmune diseases may be interdependent.
Therefore, those affected should eat a diet rich in vital substances such as traditional Mediterranean food, get enough sleep, good stress management (e.g. learning relaxation techniques), daily exercise in nature (including for the formation of vitamin D) and a sufficient amount of the basic trace element Zinc.
Zinc, which is necessary for many biological processes in living beings, plays not only a regulatory role in maintaining immune function.
It is also said that the trace element has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
When buying a zinc supplement, pay attention to the active ingredient; the study was based on zinc aspartate. This is contained, for example, in Unizink®50.
„In addition to the positive effects such as beautiful skin, hair and nails, zinc is essential for the immune system and for allergies. However, in the case of a uniform cereal diet, symptoms of zinc deficiency may occur because the cereals contain too little of this trace element. If zinc levels are suboptimal, you need to normalize them. When choosing a zinc preparation, ensure optimal bioavailability, which is guaranteed in the form of zinc aspartate – Unizink®50 tablets suitable for the stomach. ”
